Brock — Rock Specialist#

Brock is the first locked Champion and a master of Ground and Rock types. He brings raw defensive power and earth-shaking offensive capability to every run.

Overview#

Unlocking Brock#

Brock is trapped in the Void. To free him, collect and spend:

• 75 Ground Essences — dropped by defeating Ground-type Pokémon
• 75 Rock Essences — dropped by defeating Rock-type Pokémon

Once unlocked, Brock starts with an empty Pokémon collection limited to Ground and Rock types, and only those you catch while playing as him.

Playstyle#

Brock rewards defensive, attrition-based play. His stat boosts and starting Defense bonus make his Pokémon significantly harder to knock out. His type restriction (Rock/Ground only) means you'll be building around a fairly narrow but deep pool — Geodude line, Onix line, Larvitar line, Sandaconda, Garchomp, and more.

Ground types give Brock excellent coverage against Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, and Steel — and immunity to Electric entirely.

Signature Pokémon#

Brock's signature starter is Onix, which has a unique Crystal Leviathan Alt Build available immediately. Additional signature Pokémon unlock through the Skill Tree:

Comfey (level 9), Vulpix (level 17), Croagunk (level 25), Happiny (level 41), Mudkip (level 33), Geodude (level 49), Bonsly (level 56), Pineco (level 77), Zubat (level 63), Lotad (level 70).
