Misty — Water Specialist#

Misty is the second locked Champion and master of Water types. She brings speed, adaptability, and surprisingly broad coverage to runs.

Overview#

Unlocking Misty#

Misty requires 200 Water Essences — the highest single-type essence cost of any currently available Champion. Water Essences drop from defeating any Water-type Pokémon.

The higher cost reflects Misty's broader power ceiling — Water has excellent offensive coverage and a massive species pool.

Playstyle#

Misty rewards aggressive, fast-paced play. Her Speed stat boost and Accuracy +1 starting move upgrade mean her Pokémon hit first and hit reliably. Water covers Fire, Ground, and Rock — three of the most common defensive types — making her team easy to build around.

Her Signature Pokémon pool is the widest of any Champion, giving significant flexibility in starter selection.

Signature Pokémon#

Misty's signature starter is Staryu, with the Chronos Gear Alt Build available from the start. Additional signatures unlock through the Skill Tree:

Horsea (level 8), Corsola (level 16), Luvdisc (level 24), Psyduck (level 32), Poliwag (level 40), Goldeen (level 47), Azurill (level 54), Togepi (level 61), Magikarp (level 68), Clauncher (level 75).
