Omega Features
The Omega System is PokéVoid's persistent progression layer. While your Pokémon collection and run history persist between runs in a standard roguelite fashion, the Omega System adds a layer of permanent power upgrades that carry into every future run.
ΩGOLD (OmegaMoney)
ΩGOLD is a persistent currency earned between runs. It does not reset when you start a new run.
Sources of ΩGOLD:
- Completing Bounties
- Special rewards and run endings
- Saving your game (the floppy disk icon in the top-right rewards ΩGOLD and protects your data)
- Smitom interactions
Uses of ΩGOLD:
- Purchasing ΩITEMS from the OmegaShop
- Rerolling Rogue (Draft) mode starting Pokémon
- Paying the Fusion Tax (using Fusion Pokémon in Journey mode)
ΩITEMS (OmegaItems)
ΩITEMS are long-lasting upgrades purchased with ΩGOLD from the OmegaShop. They have two duration types:
- Usage-based — quantity decreases after each use (e.g. "catch rate boost activates 3 times")
- Wave-based — quantity decreases after every 50 waves
